Prepare For My Cleaning

1. Communicate Specific Requests:

Before your appointment, let us know about priorities, areas to avoid or focus on, delicate surfaces, and any allergy/health concerns. If you want an add-on service, let us know ahead of time so we can bring the proper equipment and supplies.

2. Allocate Parking Space:

If parking is limited, please reserve a spot close to the entrance when possible.

3. Turn Off Alarms:

Let us know if you have a security system and please disarm it before we arrive (or share instructions).

4. Ensure Accessible Entry:

Confirm how we’ll enter (unlocked door, key, code, garage, buzzer) and label the correct entry if needed.

5. Provide Access to Rooms:

Open doors to the rooms you want cleaned and let us know which rooms/areas are off-limits.

6. Secure Pets:

If pets need to be secured for safety and comfort, secure pets in a designated area and let us know ahead of time.

7. Clear Clutter:

Pick up items from floors and main surfaces ahead of time (toys, clothes, cords, papers etc.) so we can clean efficiently and thoroughly.

8. Safeguard Fragile Items:

Put away fragile décor and secure valuables, medications, important documents, and personal items you don’t want moved or handled.

9. Linens:

Make sure you have clean linens (bedding, towels, tablecloths etc.) available in the proper designated areas if you would like us to change them.

10. For Businesses:

Ask staff to clear desks/work surfaces and secure confidential paperwork before we arrive.
