Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction: This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which clients may cancel or reschedule their cleaning appointments with Mess Minimizers. Please read this policy carefully, as it is applicable to all residential and commercial cleaning services provided by Mess Minimizers.

2. Residential Cleaning Cancellation Policy:

  • 24-Hour Notice: Residential clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. 
  • Cancellation Fee: If the cancellation is made within 24 hours of the appointment, a fee of $75 will be charged.
  • No-Show Fee: Failure to provide access for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a fee of $75.

3. Commercial Cleaning Cancellation Policy:

  • 48-Hour Notice: Commercial clients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. 
  • Cancellation Fee: If the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the appointment, a fee equal to $75 will be charged.
  • No-Show Fee: Failure to provide access for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a fee of $75.

4. Emergency Cancellation:

  • In case of emergency situations, both residential and commercial clients may contact Mess Minimizers to explain the circumstances. Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and fees may be waived at the discretion of Mess Minimizers.

5. Rescheduling:

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must comply with the notice periods defined above for residential and commercial clients.

6. Refunds:

  • Refunds are completely up to the discretion of Mess Minimizers.

  • Mess Minimizers reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other public channels.
Discount Policy

1. New Customer Discount Policy:

  • Offer Details: All new customers of Mess Minimizers are eligible but not guaranteed to receive a 20% discount on their first recurring cleaning service. This is usually applied on your second cleaning, as your first cleaning is not considered a recurring cleaning yet.
  • Eligibility: To be eligible for the discount, the customer must book a cleaning service with Mess Minimizers for the first time, and sign up for our recurring cleaning services. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or discount.

2. Refer-A-Friend Discount Policy:

  • Offer Details: Existing customers can earn up to a 50% discount on their next cleaning service by referring someone to Mess Minimizers.
  • Referral Criteria: The referred person must book and complete a cleaning service with Mess Minimizers. - The referring customer must be mentioned by the referred friend at the time of booking. - The referred person should be a new customer and not have previously booked a cleaning service with Mess Minimizers.
  • Limitations: A customer can refer multiple friends but can apply only one 50% discount per cleaning session. Additional earned discounts will be saved for subsequent bookings.

All promotional offers are subject to change at the discretion of Mess Minimizers. Offers cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.

Payment Policy

1. Payment is due upon completion of services.

2. Mess Minimizers accepts cash, check, credit/debit cards. If you have a credit/debit card on file, we will automatically charge your card when the job is complete.

3. Standard Payment Processing Fee: 

  • 3.6% of the total amount due.

4. Prepayment Requirement: 

  • Prepayment in full is required when the customer is not available for a walk-through.

5. Processing Fee for Prepayment with No Walk-through: 

  • 4.6% of the total amount due.
Refund Policy

1. General Terms:

  • We aim for your complete satisfaction. However, if our cleaning services do not meet your expectations, we offer a refund only under specific conditions decided by Mess Minimizers.

2. Complaint Period:

  • Complaints need to be lodged within 24 hours of service completion. We will try to rectify the problem, which may include a re-cleaning at no extra cost, which will be scheduled as early as we can based on our availability.

3. Refund Eligibility:

  • If you're still dissatisfied after the re-cleaning, we may issue a refund based on the service portion deemed unsatisfactory, however this is not guaranteed.

4. Non-Refundable Services:

  • Services using custom purchased cleaning supplies, extra labor done onsite, custom requests, and Add-ons are non-refundable.

You can request this data to be deleted at any time and we will promptly comply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for any reason. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mess Minimizers complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and The Campaign Registry (TCR) 10DLC regulations.

  • This data is utilized to enhance our services, process your payments, communicate updates, provide customer service, and communicate.
